SabrinaMitwali-BioAfter winning World Champion of R&B and Soul at the World Championships of performing arts in Los Angeles, Sabrina Mitwali is back in Australia ready to release fresh new music.

Sabrina was born in Sydney Australia in 1990 and grew up in the Western suburbs of Sydney. Sabrina’s interest in music started at a young age but it was when she was 12 that her Uncle Harry bought her a karaoke machine that lead to the discovery of her musical talent.

At the age 13 she auditioned for a program called The Talent Advancement Program (TAP) where she spent the next four years enhancing her vocal ability and confidence. Through TAP she was given the opportunity to tour Australia and Los Angeles/ Colorado. It was when she was performing at Disneyland LA that she made the decision that music would be a big part of her life.

Over the course of her time in the entertainment industry Sabrina has collaborated with some of the best entertainers in the scene. Performing alongside Cody Simpson, Jessica Mauboy, DJ Havana Brown, Wes Carr, Timomatic and supporting KC & JOJO on their Australian Tour.

Along with her music career, Sabrina has a passion for presenting. In 2010 a new door of opportunities opened. Sabrina moved to the Gold Coast to become part of an on air Breakfast duo at (RADIO 97) 104.1fm along side Luke Warburton. Her skills on air enhanced rapidly after being thrown in the deep end and having to broadcast to over 600,000 on commercial radio.

Sabrina & Luke were the first young radio duo employed by the station. They changed the direction of the station, introduced a new target market and took over the radio airwaves.

After graduating from The Sydney Academy of Film & Television, it was time for Sabrina to take a break from hosting a show behind the mic and start hosting in front of the camera and live on stage. She teamed up with FOXTEL’S Backstage Mojo and hosted live events such The MTV Awards Australia, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Arias, The Australian Swimsuit Pageant (HOOTERS), Groovin the Moo Festival and Australia Day.

She has interviewed and rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest stars in the world including Ricky Martin, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hawkins, Mark Wahlberg, Sia, Ruby Rose, Xavier Samual, Good Charllotte and Ja Rule.
